Yeah I saw the movie last night... The only thing they got right from the book was the title. They spelled it with all the same letters.. Only thing I'd recommend is read the book its a really good read.

I saw it too and really enjoyed it. I cant see why folk were so quick to assume it would be a bad film just because it was not like the book. I have read the book too and both stand up on their own.

The only part that was a bit of a disappointment was the lab scene at the end was not as suspenseful as it could of been. Plus I was hoping for another 'event' moment that I had not already seen in the trailers.

7/10 - quite good. And Brad was restrained too and not playing up to any 'coolness'.

Just saw it and really enjoyed the movie. While watching it could not think that this is what I Am Legend should have been.

FX are really nice and the "living organism" doesn't look so "organic" and fake like in the trailers, maybe because they were taken a bit out of context to show cool stuff on those, during the movie they felt part of it and are extremely well made and completely plausible IMO.

sorry, i just jumped in on this thread. Saw the movie over the weekend and was very disappointed. So many holes in the story line...and very poor character development. CG work was awesome (As to be expected) but it lacked in every other aspect. Im anxious to listen to the audiobook in the next few weeks as i hear the book (as usual) is far better than the film.

The audio book is very good, but the last I saw Abridged (from Audible). Still, Henry Rollins does one of the voice overs so, WIN!

Saw it and liked it for a 7.5/10. Brad Pitts acting was a bit under the par but he did an ok job.

I would have loved more story about humanity struggling with the zombies and less Pitt and his journey, but I guess this is the limit of a 2h film, can't have them all.
