[Help] How to maintain UV when using Zremesher?

Hi,

Is there a way to maintain the UV when running the zremesher command (by default the zremeshed object will have a new UV)?
I could not find a definite answer (i.e. it is possible or is not).
The thread I could only find is this one and its unanswered :(

Thank you for your time.

I dont think you can because the topology changes, hence the uv's wont line up

Thanks Hannah for the confirmation. I was thinking of a setting of maintaining the UV border so they still line up even if there is a topology change. But it seems like there is no such option.

you could use zplugin >uv master copy/paste
but your texture may not align very well,
maybe copy/paste your uv
then re do your texture with projection master.

setting up uv should be last before your ready to texture
