Need help with dog animation

Hey! I need some help, I'm new to animation and am having a hard time seeing this properly. Can anyone tell me what I can do to make this animation more realistic/appealing?

I guess I'll take a crack at it to help out. The dog passes through the ball in the beginning (or so it appears his nose does on it's current path). Some of the leg movement might be giving the unnatural sense because of how many are airborne at once, I think one frame there were 3 up and one down. If a dog were to have that many in the air it would maybe be a jump or very fast pace, as far as I know only a handful of breeds have a full double suspension gallop
I like your feel of weight and how you adequately express personality in the character with playfulness and subtle secondary motion in the tail and ears. Also I enjoyed the quick slurp he does with his tongue near the end as he rises up. The ball might feel more convincing with more bounce and/or squash and stretch. For now it is fairly glued to the ground as he bumps into it and has it roll around until he actually picks it up, this vertical movement can be very subtle but will add to the feel of reality.

Overall splendid progress though, I have only dabbled in quadrupeds because they are quite a challenge. Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for the advice!! You were right on. I've made some corrections, does it look any better?
