Pseudo Smoothing using Subdivision Surface?

As you might know, when using subdivision surface. it smooths the surface.
My question is there a way to smooth out a surface using SubD Generator BUT RETAINING A SUBDIVISION OF ZERO?

I know this might sound odd, but I just like the subD Generator smoothing algorithm than me doing the smoothing manually. (Selecting all faces and hitting Iron does not appeal to me).

Thank you for your time.

As I know there is no way to get it from the generator.

But you could use Subdivide command for doing it. (U~S)

I would use the Smooth Deformer for this.

Thank you both for the response. The smooth deformer did the job for me.
Have a great day ahead!
