Company upgraded computer...Can I run Quadro K5000 with new K6000?

Is it worth it to keep the K5000 and add the cuda cores of the k6000.
I know I'm given up the 12gb of gpu ram.

I guess I can play around with both.
What is everyone's thoughts?

Company bought them, so they say you can keep both or sell old k5000 card on ebay (I don't keep the money...goes back to the company) They just want what ever is the best set up for production.

I mostly do editing in premiere and after effects, and then use pflow in max sometimes using fumefx on projects.

Vray 3.0 is out... does it now allow for gpu final renders?

k6000 > k5000

why sell it, instead ask to use in your home pc for keeping skill up to date or something... probably a spit in the bucket for what it's worth.

.. and why the hell would an employer ask an employee to sell their stuff and pay them back.. really? that seems reckless and a just an overall pain in the ass thing to ask of someone to do...
