Hi there, l'm a long time member first time poster.
I was a bit late to the Rick and Morty party bus, but I absolutely loved the show and it inspired me to get off my butt and start posting some stuff.

So here is my first ever WIP... I've based the model off @sledivenah Rick Sanchez design, he's a wonderful character designer and I recommend checking his instagram board out if you are after inspiration.

I'm still deciding what to do for the background - any suggestions are welcome.

The show takes place in really colorful and"acid" places, so I think you have a great pick. I think some crazy landscape would be great. If you don't want to model anything organic, I remember there was a "robo-tech" city in one of the episodes.

Anyway, the hair looks great. I mean it has the design of real cartoon character but the real hair is there. Cool stuff.

Thanks Momentum. Truth be told I never did a full body for him as I only ever intended to do a bust. Saying that though it wouldn't be to hard to add in some legs to complete the character should I ever want to animate him.
