Character professor (continuation)

Tomorrow I will start refining head and arms. He is a good character, a bit strange and loves his job more than people. And definitely, must be a fast-food lover.

Looks sweet! Guess you had a lot of fun with finding references...

I like very much his sides, and also his thighs - greatly modeled! Not sure about that line going down from the belly button (looks for me almost female somehow, but i won’t start to search for photos now...). And maybe the nipples could point more down, regarding the hanging rest, looking here freshly forward. His knees aren’t fully there yet - they seem to be narrow on your update (while the corrections there are going into a good direction).

Otherwise truly fantastic work. Hats off!

He reminds me of Dennis from Jurassic Park, who was played by Wayne Knight.

Great work on the model! I would say maybe the neck fat folds could be a bit deeper, but I understand that Zbrush would have trouble with the polys colliding.

Oh! So this guy is getting your extreme study on the ‘full-figured’ type. Since he’s supposed to be a relatively young and still active guy i’d try the following:
- reduce volume at the upper body: somewhat thinner arms (especially radialis muscles seem to be very strong); not sure about this one, but i tryed a version with the shoulders less wide; and also the belly slightly smaller while keeping the shape.
- armpits could point inward (front and back)
- and the face could be much smoother, regarding his age and his physique.
- plus: i’d give him those glasses also with the nude version (belonging to his typical look)

It’s coming nicely, mister3d! Huge progress since the first version. Some thoughts:




Also the face is much better! Could go even more toward ‘baby face’.(cheeks for example)

Thank you Zokana! I made those adjustments. This is a photoshop overpaint for the time being. I will make the glasses more massive when modeling.
