Thumbs up Good work

No critics just a suggestion. Water reflexion is very good but you should take care of the light difference between the rocks on the right side and the holed rock in the water. The rest is fine. Keep on painting!

Check my last 2D work> http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=167703

I really like the middle rock. How did you do it? maybe it's reflection in the water is not quite distorted enough (maybe if you converted your waves to a grayscale displacement map displacement and then passed the reflection itself through Distort/Displace or maybe if you used just a plain 'o, vanilla liquify fiddle).

I like the subtlety of the image, everyday yet other worldly.

For a first matte painting i am very very impressed. I agree though with the comment about the rock on the right hand side of the shot, it is far too dark considering the light source is coming from left to right. Excellent work!
