best method for realistic muscle deformation
I am about to embark on a big project to accurately represent muscle deformation in a photoreal character animation.
I was looking at Weta Tissue system and wanted to know what the closest available software there is to create results approaching this level of realism?.
Is it just better in the end to do it with blend shapes, or is maya muscle with deformation maps the way forward?
Any input would be good on this guys. I really want to choose the right path.
