alembic poly count limitations
I have a scene with animation thats around 60,000 faces. Alembic doesn't seem to be able to handle it. No errors just does nothing.
I've done a piece of the same scene at around 1,000 faces and it works good, second a frame.
I'm thinking I'll need to export each piece separately. Is that your experience too with alembic, keep the exports around 1000 faces?
Or is it a hard ware thing maybe?

i dont think there is a poly limmit...
the example file octopus has 180k poly...
and i see no reason why it souldnt work on a 1mio poly object...
specially if you are going to cache fluids its goin into really high polycounts...
