Shader libraries ideas?

Hi all

I'm looking for a solution to being able to use the same set of shaders across multiple scenes but still be able to modify them within the scenes I am using, and also a good way to view the various libraries, update them, maybe with different versions etc?

I've done some googling but thought i would find better info in here.

Any help, point in right direction etc would be much appreciated

Thanks for reading

Will.
