Robot modelling

Hi guys, I m new here and currently doing some personal project to boost my portfolio.
Here's a transformer-inspired bot i have been working since last month. I didn't draw or plan any design beforehand so i model spontaneously with quick reference of some robot design i found cool ( terminator, robocop, matrix.. ).

The arm and legs still in progress, please critic my work and suggest improvement. And hope you guys like it !

Nice design, I'm looking forward to seeing more. The only thing that really popped out at me is that the eyes don't connect to anything. How far are you planning on taking the model?

Thanks FancyRedFox !
Ya now the eyeballs kinda floating in front of the eye sockets. I guess it is necessary to add some mechanical parts behind it.
I will finish the full body model, add some worn texture and render a still with posing, maybe will rig it for future animation.

Some update of the arm model

Update of the eye socket, added the eyeballs "housing" part

Actually when i start this project my aim was to "transformer-fy" my car for fun (ASIA ROCSTA, now KIA ROCSTA, a small 4WD ), so later might add on some car part like tire

Hi guys !
Sorry for the slow update, here's what i done so far.
Next I will clean up/bevel some mesh and do UV/texturing, and I will start to brainstorm the environment and composition.

I think he misses some "irregularity" like having on his chest on one part an emblem or something like that. So what I mean he would look better to me if he wouldn't have the exact same parts on the left side like he has on his right side. He could have additional parts on one side that are not on the other (because you might only need one) or maybe if you wanna have him a sword of some kind he could have a shorter one (dagger) on the other side. The sky is the limit.
Parts like that might also give him purpose and personality - what is he made for? does he have a mission to accomplish?

But so far, I am impressed!

Thanks Sundaynights !!
I agree with the "irregularity" idea, maybe it is too symmetry and naked now. I will give him a different shoulder armor and some sort of high-tech shield on one arm.

He suppose to be a heroic battle robot so will arm him a sword/gun as well.

Will post a quick sketch of how the final composition looks like soon.

Happy New Year everyone !!
Here's a quick sketch of the pose and environment.
Background will be a war-torn city with burning buildings and debris on the foreground.
Any comment and suggestion ?
