Two Objects And One Material - Changing Visibility

Dear All,

My requirement is as follows:
- There are two objects (planes) both mapped to the same material.
- While rendering I want to make one plane fully visible and the other plane hidden.

Is this possible in Cinema4D?

I tried modifying the 'Visibility' attribute in the 'Display' Tab of each object, but it seems that the visibility parameter is getting applied to the common Material, rather than the individual objects. As a result while rendering, both the objects are visible.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
