VFB object is already created at the moment of pre event. and this object is IImageViewer. VFBInterface works with it as it IImageViewer. but IImageViewer has method GetHDisplayWindow(). so vfb hwnd has to be known at this moment.



there is a moment between window created and shown which i use to destroy the window

this is from mxs help:

<IVFB>
.IsVisible : boolean : Read|Write
Get/set the visible state of the Image Viewer.

but you can change vfb visibily only after the PostImageViewerDisplay event

Would it have killed them to just include

i was wrong. the VFB window is created BEFORE #preImageViewerDisplay fires. it makes sense. it's activates after. i just had to use HCBT_CREATEWND message...
