Ignore - moving to maxscript forum

Heya Folks,

I've got a little pipeline script here that automates the naming and folders of our render passes on shots which is working fine, but one thing I'd like to do is get access to some of the options that each file type saves with. Specifically I'm going to EXR and I'd love to be able to set options about the compression type (zips for nuke) and also enable the save region option instead of the save image option to turn on the nuke data window.

At the minute I'm setting the file type just using the

Code:
re.SetRenderElementFilename (i-1) (theBeautyPass + "_" + TheName + "_.exr")

to get exr's out, but is there a way to get at the commands that become available using the "setup" button in the file save dialog for render output?

I know this only needs to be set once and it's sticky from then on, but it'd be great as a fail safe for new artists and new installs of max that mightn't have the correct options set.

Cheers!

John
