Move points vertically to an inclined reference line?

I have a model and some points need to be aligned only in Y coordinates to a reference line that is inclined. What is the best way to do that?

Use my plugin Axis Snap Constraint

Or use some script of HB Modeling tool

Thanks. Your tool only snap to point coordinates isn't it?

Actually yes, it only snap to some points with some constraints of course.

you could use the slide tool to slide the points

They are the extremity points, can i slide them into a line?

Can't you just enable snapping: 2D + Vertex snap + (edge snap or spline snap - whatever your reference line is) and drag with the Y only axis constraint ?

Yes that is what i ended up doing it is just not very efficient point by point. At least with my current level of learning.
