Bipped mirroring is slanted?

Exclamation Bipped mirroring is slanted?

So I have my model all weighted and rigged up but mirroring it is giving me some problem. When ever I go to mirror mode, the green and blue is near center but it is slanted by about 45%. I checked the model and skeleton and they all are center up. Tried some of the option under mirror parameters but it doesn't help. This is first time skinning within max so I probably did something wrong along the way but what? Any suggestion?

Try resetting the Xform on the base model before you add the Skin modifier.

I just tried doing what you mention like this. Save out the .env under advanced and deleted the skin modifier and merge a xform on top. Applied a skin modifier and loaded the same .env and when I scrub through the animation, big chunk of vertex goes in which ever direction.
