Amazing, simply amazing stuff!!! Love the colors, and characters, they are so alive. This is for sure one of my favourates from this challenge. I really liked your GSO too btw. It would be strange if you don't get into the top 3 a big Congrats!!!

Insect Sanitarium

stefgrafx,

The sense of whimsy and charm is evident in the detail and color of each crazy insect. Enviable sense of mixed styles, particularly in the fairly realistic wings of the top character, and the bumpy shells of the others. The fairy dust is lovely.

Much to learn and study from your thread, so many thanks.

May your journey to nowhere lead someplace luxurious with new toys.

Whoohoo!! Congratulations Steph! Such a fun bunch of characters arranged in a beautiful setting. One of my favorites -- early on, since you finished so quickly (had been in my inspiration folder for so long, I am not kidding, I actually dropped a bunch of my characters and props onto your image in Photoshop just to see how they would look -- and, they didn't look bad, because your background scene is so much better than mine! I still have that image! It inspires me everytime I come across it -- but not nearly as much as the original, of course!)

Looking forward very much to seeing your work in a future Challenge! Cheers!
