Outback Long Drop, Nicholas Foster (3D)

Title: Outback Long Drop
Name: Nicholas Foster
Country: Australia
Software: Maya

I sat down thinking what i could create that hasnt been done to often. Which is a hard thing to to cause everthings been done atleast once.
So i decided to make a Australian long drop. I wanted something that had character. I orginally made it with colour, but changed it to a sepia tone, in paint shop. I felt that this fitted the time frame that the toilets where around. The cobwebs and a light at the back of the house were the only things done in paintshop.
Please comment, good or bad, i like both.

I like it, good choice. I think you have just the right amount of objects in the scene to make it believable. You also do a good job of avoiding the over staril 3D look (I'm struggling with that). My only complaint is that your bump mapping seems to be too extreme. The bumps on the house look too big. I'd also like to see the color version.

Good job
