I agree the msn one is probably way out of date interms of the info that is there, and hasn't been contributed to in ages either.

The maxon job one I'm not a fan of because cgsociety has a proper job posting place, and we don't' allow regular artists to post jobs elsewhere, but more importantly how long should that free job advertising even need to be up there?

The graphics driver issue isn't as important now either.

That leaves three, the wip gallery one I think should stay for sure, and I think the think before you post is a good one that most forum sections here have. That leaves the new user one which hasn't be posted to in a long while but does have some useful info, but probably could go to resources?

I'm open for changing that

The problem is that the CG Talk job board does not much cater to the people that might be interested in most of the jobs Maxon can offer. Also these postings only stay stuck for a short time, the current one has been up for three days now, the one before was up for a bit over three weeks, i admit, that was a bit longer than i intended to.

I leave that to debate.

Cheers

A "common problems & solutions" thread would be quite helpful. I know 90% of people don't read them, but for the 10% that do - it can be a lifesaver.

I would prefer an easily visible link to a WIKI instead. Unfortunately the CG-Society WIKI is rather unwieldy, but maybe this can be adressed in the near future.

Whatever goes for users should apply to Maxon in respect of advertising for posts or jobs on this independent forum.

Can user post sticky Job adverts?
If not, then there appears to be a conflict of interests here.
