Pose preference for rigging?

Do you have a specific pose type that you use in your pipeline that is preferred for rigging?

If so, can you share some reasons why you do it that way and also what the results are used for?

(for example, Tpose because it is easier to setup joint orientation and we use this for film)

There was a huge thread about this already that you might want to look for as many people has some great insight into what they like and why including my self.

As a blanket statement I prefer the A pose.
