Cubic Texture Projection Problem

Feature, bug or am I missing something?
In R14 if I try to scale the texture of an object that has cubic projection, something strange is happening. For example, if I scale the texture in the Y direction, the texture doesn't scale properly (see attachment). In R13 it works as expected (see attachment).
Any ideas on what's going on?

Thanks

Toggle the "Enable Axis Modification" Mode (L) and
you'll be all right.

Cheers
