VRay: Taking ages to unload RAM after render

Hello,

I got a pretty serious problem here:

I have a very displacement-heavy scene (RAM Load when rendering is about to finish: 16GB)
Now the image itself renders at a pretty reasonable amount of time (3072x3072 takes about 25min) on an i7 Machine with 24GB of RAM.

Now the problem arises when the actual rendering is finished:

Max unloads the RAM at a speed of approximately 1MB-5MB per second (according to the task manager) which is ridiculously slow. Now when you add that to the actual render time the frame takes you're at about 1 hr 10min (including writing outputs which takes approx 1min)

Have any of you guys encountered this issue? I tested it with VRay versions 2.30.00 and 2.40.03, no difference.

The dynamic memory limit is set at 20000MB, so there should be no problem there since the machine got 24GB of RAM (Also the render log shows no "unloading geometry..." while rendering or after.

Definitely post this on the Vray forums. I think someone from Chaos will sort you out.
