Diego,

Be sure to check out the lovely work of SaraD here:

Anatomy thread of SaraD
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=302435

as well as that of Erich / El_Chief:

Anatomy Thread of Erich Schreiner
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=297560

There are lots of other great Anatomy Threads, including those of Mike / default.rol, Martin / erilaz, and David / redehlert, whom you may already know, but I thought you might particularly enjoy these to start out with.

Cheers,

~Rebeccak

erilaz / thanks, i'm flattered. But I'm sure you can find way better references...

RebeccaK / Yes, i do figurative sculture, and about the drawings, I learned all i know of structure of kevin Chen demo pages he posted a while ago in CA. They're the most helpfull notes i've read and still use to recognize the understructure. I'm really interested in getting better with value blending and to see better, i think it helps when you are modelling.

Diego,

Yep, I'm definitely familiar with Kevin's work. ~ Great stuff.

In terms of values...I really recommend taking a look at the book:

The Artist's Complete Guide to Figure Drawing: A Contemporary Perspective on the Classical Tradition (Paperback) by Anthony Ryder.

Excellent book, by a brilliant traditional artist who works in pencil. Beautiful shading.

Hmm, looking forward to seeing some of your sculptural work!

Cheers,

~Rebeccak
