No Falloff for Leading Edge of Cylinder Slice?

I'm using cylindrical falloff with the wonderful slice functionality to do a cylindrical wipe for some mograph elements. However, the leading edge of the slice doesn't have any falloff, as seen in the image below. Any idea how to get that?

Thanks!
Luke

I had to fiddle with those links to get to the thread, but I got there - and using a delay effector to fake the falloff is a fantastic idea. Thanks!
