not sure about NDA, however I havent really exposed what we dont already know about Redshift. tabs, names, knobs ( my name is Paul and thats up to y'all...) I'm going to continue my test over the weekend, keep chugging away!

more test: Info: [Redshift] Rendering done - total time for 240 frames: 6317.63 s

very cool, no flicker no artifacts, fast render. The new cards will blow this time out of the water!

very cool treedee... What's your experience with high res 16 bit textures so far? I mean, if you guys were to use many highres 16 bit or even 32 bit textures in this classroom scene, how big of an impact would it have on render time?

My thoughts exactly, I'm currently adding more shaders and textures to scene to find out. Obviously it will effect render times but I still believe that the results will be excellent!

thx guys... I hope it doesn't sound like I'm asking for too much, but how cool does animated DOF look like with redshift? Can it compete with PRMAN quality/speed wise? Or has it the usual shortcomings that are present in all biased raytracers?

I doubt any raytrace DoF will be able to match REYES in terms of speed, even on GPU. I could be wrong tho :O

That looks wonderful! great time too, I'm hoping to get back on the testing been busy as of late. Good stuff keep em coming!
