Rendering 3D for polarized glasses

Can somebody point me to a link how to render 3d for polarized glasses? anaglyph is very clear and I found a lot of information but how do you render for polarized glasses? thanks

Just as you would render any 3d, separate images for left and right.
3d device will merge them at the end.

What do you mean by
"3d device will merge them at the end."

If I understood well I will render each frame 2 times for left and right eye but how do I combine them?

Exactly, you just don't combine them.
Lets say you have a bluray 3d player or projector,
you feed it two separate video streams for left and right.
Go check free stereoscopic player, it supports large
amount of 3d devices and formats, you'll see much
clearer then, even in 3d
You still can check if your 3d is ok in maya by
rendering anaglyph tests.

So I will render two - mono movies and then use the "free stereoscopic player" and play them? Can you play with this these two movies simultaneously? thanks
