updated the UVs and textures on the mech, still not fully done, i just kind of blocked everything in. This thing has wayyyy too many parts

i also updated the animation, the ninja now blocks the bullet instead of chopping it which i think makes way more sense, i also fixed the stumbling soldier near the end somewhat but feel like it still needs more polishing, over all im pretty happy with the direction its going. The floating ninja in the beginning will be addressed, but when shes bouncing between the walls i wanted to give her a more effortless look and i think adding exaggerated hang time kind of helps that. Also the soldier will be shooting at her the entire time so i think it might help break it up a little bit.

spent some time tweaking reflection IORs and changed the lighting setup a bit

also went into mud box to paint some wrinkles and details for the models





i should really get going on the environment modeling at this point

finally got time off work to do some work with this thing again. I wasn't too happy with how it came out last time so im going back in again and tweaking the textures more. I also started using more displacement and resized the models to work better for lighting. This one is almost done but still needs a little bit more work. This project is becoming my test bed for learning new techniques.

re did the rig using advanced skeleton, testing out the skinning n stuff as i go. I think I'll lighten up his mask a little bit more and make the belt area textures a little cleaner. I want to go back in add in more part lines and detail the texture on his armor but I'll save that for a later date.
