Spline follow deformed object plugin ?

Hi everybody, I remember an old plugin ( maybe a Xpresso, or Tag ) but can't retrieve the name, maybe you can help me ?
We select or draw a spline from edges f.e , so we use the plugin to attach the spline to the surface of a deformed object and we have an tool to offset the spline from the surface.
I know I can use the surface deformer but this plugin was more easy to control and to offset the spline...

Any idea ? Thanks !
