Modeling: Model01

this is just an overview, I'm using an old cartoon technique to get the impression of depth, the "planes" are transparant alpha blends (clear at the bottom, opaque at the top). This is just a preliminary setup, the scene will have a LOT more details, and 3 adventurers on the bottom half... patience you'll see.

Ok the scene will feature three adventurers at the entry of a valley where danger lurks. The first one (the hero look alike) is pointing at roman-style ruins on the mountain on the far side of the walley while clapping his companion #2 on the back.
Companion #2 (Baldrick look alike) is scratching his chin while looking at a skull and bones sign next to the road and has one hand firmly locked on the shoulder of companion #3
Companion #3 (young lad from the farm next door look alike) is trying to run away in panick.
The valley beyond should clearly but suptly show the tail of a dragon, a raised tentacle, giant brambles, thunderstorms and so forth, while the temple on the hill is bathed in idyllic light shining through a blanket of white clouds.
Styling will be semi-cartoonish.

this is the view, I'm tweaking depth/details untill I get the bird eye view correctly. As soon as my camera's batteries are charged I'll upload the preliminary sketch... bear with me this is my first serious attempt at CG3D.

Unhappy no time

I'm sorry but I don't think I'll make it, I'm swamped with my graduation and hope to still make a tutorial for Earthvid's modelling import export functions... So I'm afrain I'll cancel this challenge...where's the "cancel" button?
