Mograph Cloner - Object mode, aligning to poly normal

Cylinder object with a number of height segments, and about 12 rotation segments. I want to use Mograph cloning to place another smaller cylinder, so it juts out from the center of each polygon.

The cloning works, but the objects all face "up", and are not directed along the polygon normal.

Looks like you're cloning on vertices rather than polygon center, but in any case, when the cloner attempts to align an object to a poly or point normal, it does so along the object's Z axis. So you can rotate your clone's axis so that Z is up, or you could leave it as-is and set P rotation to 90 in the cloner's transform tab.

Yeah, I was trying vertex and poly center and grabbed wrong screenshot. I rebuilt my cloned object to be lofted along Z and all works well.
