X-Particles - some sneak preview

Though stated as an alfa version I have been alowed to show some of the new planned features.
What you will be able to do probably with next version - an event based morphing like this:

https://vimeo.com/50891065

first blossom is scaled upon time like already known, but once trail has reached its max lenght and freezes, I use this freeze to trigger a morph to open it.

As this is a linear morph, you´ll run into trouble e.g. if you want to open a cube. Going directly to its final state, it will slide top face through the face it is attached to. But you can have multimorphs as well :

https://vimeo.com/50918295

opening to first state is triggered by collision on a plane and at a specified age, particles have been transferred to a different group and start anothr morph to final state.
In the box, theré s another new option - a text sprite set to facing camera.

Looks good! I'm really looking forward to any plugin that takes Cinema 4D a step further when it comes to particles, this made me excited!

I got a couple of questions:

Is that action based? Can I for example string Together several particle emitters to interact at collision or at a certain frame rate?

Is it comparable to pFlow from on 3dsMAX?

_

Thanks!

Sorry, I don´t know 3dMax, so I can´t tell.
Yes, this is action based. I ask for anything, collision, speed, age or whatever and if this question gets true it will start anything, in my sample age for spawning the leaves and freeze ( which is done when trail lenght of stem is complete) will trigger that morph to open.

Particles from different emitter cannot interact ( I think yet because it´s on the wishlist already of course ....)
