lightwave IK if you go to MB?

Do you set the IK in LW, or do you leave it all to MB.
I means once you have your bones in place (and influences), do you bother to do the Goal object etc thing?
That would mean all the character animation in MB without an option to change in LW. When I look at the motion fles taken back into LW from MB they are so complex that you dare touch it, it seems that it would be easier to just go back to MB for changes. Ideas please, thanks.

All you must do is set the bones(looks for 3d daves skelegon set!!) and the weights. Everthing else is done in motionbuilder. Search this forum for lightwave post and you will find more details on the process. If you do not follow the exact process it will not work well.

Thanks Rabid, itís crazy but I got the whole thing working without the painful LW 7.5 IK set up, and I thought no surely I need to set the IK in LW too, but it did not make sense because when the motion comes back into LW from MB there is so much complex data that I could not see how the LW IK system would work with it. I am relieved I donít have to go too deep into that in LW because I bet NewTek will radically change the whole thing anyway (LW8 is probably a quick fix for now).
