after much deliberation, because of your excelent concept (the imagery isn't bad either, nice rendering, hm... the lighting is not so motivated, but great modeling), I award you 1st prize

(now seriously, I've seen pretty much all entries, well, except for those that are obviouly unfinished, and I thought about it. you win first prize.)

Oh I think it fits very well. Anyone who has that much work to embark on is starting an epic journey.
