Brother Model, Dave Gibson (3D)

Software: Maya 6.0 / Photoshop Cs

This is my second attempt at a low poly head. I am in need of any feedback you can provide on the texture or model itself. I have kept the head poly count under 1000 for game use and for addition into my reel. The texture was painted by hand in Photoshop CS with a Wacom Intous Tablet. The Hair looks amazing from the side however I have yet to render that view out and edit for portfolio use.

very impressive....did you smooth it at all..look low poly & unsmoothed i can definatly see this guy as a playable character in a game

I averaged the normals and the model itself is 1000 polys. Thanks

anymore critique / comments? I know this model is far from perfect but I need outsider info on how to make it look better

excellent....do have a full body done for him or is this the head the only thing you plan on doing as far as this model goes

well I probably will model a body for him soon but I was doing the head as pratice
