very good work!

ya no , noting wrong with your pic at all, but i do realize now that as long as you put a lot of junk into your pics you will get good review , which is good but I still feel even for 3d images that come up in cgtalk, that its not really about composion as much as how much work into it. Because 3d can be so much more intensive that just painting. Don't get me wrong your pic is great. But i think that the great thing about this is the lighting. please if anyone has a comment about this tell me , but it seems just like something I am noticing being new to this site.

Love the color, composition, believability, and imagination. Doesn't matter if its CG or a painting - composition is composition. I find that some people are faster with CG than painting, but that's just technique.

There is a difference between detail and clutter. I see it as a sanctuary for tradition against industrialization. It's also a sanctuary for cats, which adds to the meaning.

5 Stars.

A beautiful image, I love style, colors and idea too.
You use very well c4d and it's a good thing to represent the 'french touch' on international forums.
Really awesome.

Brilliant! - looking at this reminded me of being a kid, when I'd look at a picture for so long reading more and more into it and letting my imagination start to fill in the blanks for me.

Excellent stuff.

And from wip, some charactere design:
as said over there, i also modelised him long time ago, but since he his little on the comp it didn't bother me, but i hope to find time one day to improve him:

He is the guardian, mix of monk and robot, with urban touch.

and a closer pic from main image:

I let some old mod wich was lighter in poly since the scene became quit heavy...

Congrats Corentin, well done, as we said on
You just made it as fascinating as it could be, and it turns into kind of an inspiring work for me. Keep modeling and rendering the same way, this is to push french users to be more present in there, not only reading but also posting that kind of fabulous piece of art
(just disappointed by the color scheme you chose for the chara... but who cares at the first page image's scale?!!)

V.Montel: Thanks buddy.
Ya right and wrong i think. With closer shot the shader isn't perfect, but color sheme of the monk is contrasting with the rest of the scene in the main image.

littleac, TETRAGRAMMATON: thanks

SanctumArt: good to see you arround, you did supreme work on your last gallerie post
