Layered Texture Blend Modes in 2018?

So I created a layered texture using 2 files that stack on each other. (Say the base is brick and the top layer is a dirt/grunge). I want to be able to adjust the  grunge. How can I adjust the top layer using a Multiply/ Lighten/Darken/Screen mode? It used to be done in older versions but now I'm using 2018 and I can't find where to make that adjustment. (It used to be in the Layered Textures Attribute box). Spent way too much time trying to figure this one out so I'm asking for help, lol.

It's still there in the attribute editor, "Blend Mode" right under Color and Alpha.

If you're using Arnold there is also the new aiLayerRgba node for layered textures in the latest version.

have you tried to use the color composite node instead.?
