Baking Dynamics?

Is there a way of turning a dynamics simulation (simple object falling on the floor) into normal keyframes? I have a client with broadcast and they need to be able to play it and render it. I've tried the baking tab in the rigid body and a point cache tag. Neither seem to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Richard

Nitrobake is one of the best plug-ins for handling this sort of work; you'll definitely make use of it in future projects:

You don't need a plugin for this. Just drag your sphere into the timeline, select it, and run Functions>Bake Object. Make sure that expressions, position, and rotation are checked. That's it.

Yes! My mistake - definitely try this before paying money, especially since you have only one dynamic object.

No disrespect to Nitrobake, of course. I have it and it's great.

Check out the OG man who brought us baking at: http://tcastudios.com/
He has an excellent set of Free tools that every artist can find a use for, including some great baking scripts.
