"and When I Die?" (nudity), Jack Youngblood (2D)

Title: "and When I Die?" (nudity)
Name: Jack Youngblood
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Photoshop

Well this is a little thing that I put together from odds and ends. The girl is from an old photos shoot. The t shirt is an old piece of work. The biggest problem was getting the figure in good shape.

The original material needed a LOT of straightening out. She had her weight one one foot and I needed her to be symmetrical. I also needed to do another shoot to supply her underwear. Her bracelet was simply a scan of my own.

I would also greatly appreciate some feedback on my new site. Any bad links, comments on usability, content etc

great work-
the atmosphere and the underlining of the image is excellent,
the hands though(her right hand more then the left one), are too strong and dark IMHO
i would make them lighter and more girlish..
hope this helps!

You might have a point. The hands gave me a lot of trouble. As you can see from the reference photos the model had big hands.

To be honest, every time I saw ur name, it reminds me of 170 layers in Photoshop....
Obviously, u got pefect skills, but shamefully, her breast were flateed by ur image...
Anyway, look forward to seeing more of ur drawing

file link:

Yeh maybe excessive amount of layers. But me got a thing about non destructive editing. In my world even 170 layers can be small fry. For my piece 'Spate ' I used around 300 (to be honest I lost count). To prove it I enclose a composite snapshot of the entire layer pallet for that file. I made it for a talk I gave (I put together a small animation of all the layers).

Thought it might amuse you, if only to see a file so horribly disorganised.

BTW: thanks for the compliments.
