Subd Recovery (standalone application) released



Subd Recovery is a standalone application for recovering the previous subdivision levels of already subdivided meshes. It can recover the exact topology and geometry of a mesh as it was before being subdivided while maintaining existing UVs.

Looks nice. Can you explain if this is the same algorithm as TurboReverse ported to standalone, or is there a difference?

Thanks. It's basically the same alogorithm with some bug fixes and faster performance.

Does this work only on subd mesh or will it reduce any high res mesh even with a few triangles?

It works only on subdivided meshes.
