Critique to CGS Staff

I have seen too many works with awards and a lot of others with the same quality without any award. I really don't understand and I disagree with the criteria to vote.
I remember an old work from and old CGSociety account who has been submitted to CGTalk Galleries and it has not been accepted. So after that I wrote to the moderators and they told me that I should share in the forum WIP/Critique: 3D Stills. Obviously just the CGS members did a reply, but no moderator or anyone else from the staff.

and What is the sense of getting reviews or critiques from members if the staff of CGSociety do not review these forums?

Finally, between the common members and CGsociety's staff -obviously- are different criterias to vote and the common members dont give an award.

That's all!
Good luck!

If you haven't yet, you might want to read this thread:

FYI, CGS is currently working hard on revamping the gallery/portfolio system, so that in the future, there's no more submission system--it'll be an "editor's choice" or "highlight of the day/week" kind of system, while the CG Choice Award will remain. The Showcase Gallery will likely be completely replaced. With the new system, you simply post works to your own portfolio gallery, and new works will show up as newly uploaded images, and from that pool, the best works will be selected to be featured.

Sounds like a plan!
I like the purposed idea for re-vamping the system. The moderators and are a great source of inspiration, but they are heavily over worked. This may be a much better way to approach things.
