[Newbie Q] Object disappears in render

Wondering why does the left wall disappears when I render it the scene. I did not add a compositing tag and hid it. What is the possible culprit?

This could be several things. One thing could be the two circles next to the object bar in the object menu, make sure they are not red as that can make the object inactive/unseen when it's rendered.

The two dots mate are not in red :/

Things to check:

* Direction of the polygon normals is inverted (with respect to camera) and the Side setting on the texture not being set to "Both".

* Compositing or External Compositing tag settings (if there are any of these tags)

* Red dots ("Visible in Editor" and "Visible in Render" in Basic)- remember that these settings promulgate to children!

* An 'X' next to the dots ("Enabled" in Basic), but this should hide it in the Editor as well.

my checklist:

First of all, where are your lights?
Second, try the following:
Render with an Alpha channel.
If you see the Alpha on the left, that means the object is not rendered, otherwise it's just that it doesn't pick up light. Put a light inside your "tunnel" just on top of the pile of cyan slabs and re-render.
Otherwise, post the scene and we could troubleshoot it for you.
