Paint Weight Tool don't works, what can I do?

I'm using Maya 2012 and Maya 2009 but both have a problem in time to make the animations. See what happens in the picture:

It is as if gripped parts of the model in time to make the animation.

I've tried using the Paint Skin Weight Tool, but I don't use more because of memory properties error occurs. Are not saving the changes.

Please what can I do to get rid of this type of error once and for all?

Three things come to mind..

1. What skinning method are you using? Post or interactive?

2. Are your weights locked?

3. Did you delete an edge, vertex, or face, or all of the above AFTER binding your mesh to your joints?

Good luck!
