Thanks. This will certainly be challenging. Hopefully the horse(and rider) will end up looking more like the ones in the picture. Lots to do yet.

I think your horse has a great start. But he's small versus the human.

A horse is more big than that.

I like to search for reference size. But I remember the size of the horse last time I mounted one:

My apologies, I should have stated that the images were a composite. The rider and the horse are two separate files, I just made both objects the same size to show as much detail as was reasonable. They will be properly sized and posed for the final.
Sorry for the confusion.
Your image is quite informative, thank you for posting it.

Looking good so far! The face on the rider seems a little odd, but that might just be the small image size doing that. Would love to see some close-ups of it though!
