What's the upgrade cost for someone purchasing version 3 now (to get access to the 4 beta) when 4 is released?

No, you can dowload it without to be our customer - you just have to registered on our forum.

(But now all our mail servers are busy, so you can wait for registration confirmation mail few hours

BTW, our latest test confirms our previous discussion.
For the same money 1.900 USD, you can have Best CPU (Intel Xeon E5-2687W @ 3.10GH) or 2x Titan. GPU rendering on UNBIASED scene with indirect lighting will be 7x faster on GPU.
