Whoa, that guy needs some serious dermal care

Using the photos in the background is an interesting exercise. I would suggest in this case that you either not do it, or try doing a paint over. Or, better yet, since paint overs are kind of cheating, try using them as reference and painting the buildings in yourself, which is ultimately the best route to take.

As it stands, the character looks terribly flat and uninteresting against a rather dynamic background. I keep wanting to move him out of the way and get a better look at the street because it looks really, really cool.

hey thanks for the critt, i was thinking the same thing, i hate using photos for backgrounds i will redo the background in photoshop, do you have any idea's as to how i can make the character fit the background more? he looks really flat like you said, thanks again
