Painting done for World of Warcraft: MIsts of Pandaria Cinematic for Blizzard Entertainment. Painted over 3D base for final look of the shot for lighting and mood, and to convey action and drama. Painting done in Photoshop.

Surprised there aren't more comments on this. It's really well done. Only issue I have is that he composition is a little wide, with the ships/action too centered, but that's pretty minor. Even as a paint-over it's an excellent image.

Amazing image, loaded with action and noise! The back-light helps the sails silhouettes to stand out well. Would love to see the plate you used
