Yeti for Maya = Which renderer?

Hi there,

I am hoping to find some information from the forum as to which renderer is best suited for Yeti in Maya?

Other than that, if anyone has some suggestions on a great fur & hair solution, that would be greatly appreciated. Maya is our preferred platform for fur.

Thank you!

I have only tried yeti with Vray cause last time mental ray didn't support it. Uhm. I think 3Dlight works too.

Arnold, V-Ray, RenderMan and 3Delight

We couldn't get it to render in a test with Arnold, the grooming tools and everything worked, but the fur didnt show up?

Hopefully there is a trial of 3Delight and Vray that i can try and see if it will make the difference.

Thanks for the input thus far.

You should really try newer builds of V-Ray...

Best regards,
