In the lens shader there should be a checkbox for 'requires host'. Then place a toon host shader on the parts that you would like to ink.

First you need the ink lens on your camera then. Make a Toon Paint and Host shader. This will give you basic toonlines. If you want to add toonlines on the same geo to seperate surfaces. Make a rainbow color image and make sure there's a black section. Plug this image into a muliply node and muliply it by 1000(Not necassary but this helps eliminates the issue of a low res image + making it scalar). Plug the now scalar value into the Host unblend of the toonpaint and host shader. Now create UV's for the rainbow image. and Collapse the Uv's of each section onto a different color using "*". Where there's a difference in color toonlines will be drawn. Black will stop toonlines from being draw on interior.

I wrote this quickly, sorry if it's confusing.
