Took a look at the "finished model", nice work. However, I'm too lazy to click all the links, I'd appreciate if you read the sticky about how to insert images in your posts directly, it will probably help you get more people follow your thread.

I like the general atmosphere but you need to scale down your ground. Too big versus the car.

Looks great, have an old London feel. Like mention, the ground is too 'in your face''.

Maybe add some distortion, rounds, to the walls of the houses, especially at the edges, they looks too perfect (too straight & sharp),hence CG looking) now.

the VW van looks a little too shiny also.

One thing you could also do is braking up all those very straight "cg" lines. Have a look at the roof of the garage for example. Those roof lines are perfect straight. In real life, especially with all the old stuff, everything would be rough. Add some extra edge loops, move some vertices around for overall deformation and then add displacement for the micro structure.
There seems to be something strange going on with the dimensions of certain items. The round cylinder thing on the left in comparison with the car and how the stones on the floor stay too big in distance. Is all modeled to proper scale? The lower part of light post seems tobe too tiny as well.
Somehow the lantern with it's bright light competes with the building. It should be more of a bystander part. Maybe lighting wise the focus is more on the car in the garage?

In-short "Proportion" of modeling is a big issue here in your modeling. Floor looks very odd i think scaling issue here also...Dude you need great improvement!!....best of luck
